I’d Rather Be Listening To Dylan Fraser’s New Single

There’s no other way to say it – Dylan Fraser’s music is good for you! Although the 19-year-old singer and songwriter’s first single arrived a little under a year ago, he’s always managed to sing his truth – and artists such as Sam Smith and Sir Elton John are 100% here for it.

I’m here from it too. Obviously.

Three months after releasing “Gucci Sweater,” Dylan is back with “I’d Rather Be Here.” He spilled, “I’d rather be here is about someone who meant a lot to me but wasn’t necessarily good for my mental state. There was a lot of negativity and it was really starting to wear me down. It put me in a tricky situation, as when you care so deeply for someone, it can sometimes feel better to stay in a shitty situation than to address it head on out of fear of losing that person. This particular experience sparked the lyric “I’d rather be here than nowhere at all.”
