For the rest of 2021 and beyond, JESSIA will be known as an artist who sings her truth in the most relatable way possible. At the beginning of the year, JESSIA’s demo clip of “I’m Not Pretty” exploded on TikTok, receiving over a million views in a day. The song has now surpassed the 100 million streams mark, and is currently spending a fifth consecutive week at the top of the Billboard Canada Emerging Artists Chart. JESSIA even teamed up with Bebe Rexha for a remix of “I’m Not Pretty” last month, serving as another tell-tale sign that the rising singer/songwriter is here to stay.
JESSIA admits, “I’m really good at giving advice but not always good at taking it. I know what I SHOULD do but what’s the fun in always playing it safe? Sometimes you just need to fully accept that you are a hot mess.”
