Here’s an ode to lovers past… and to Ashley Kutcher‘s steady rise as one of pop’s most exciting newcomers!
Thanks to social media, Ashley Kutcher’s life changed for the better. The singer/songwriter from Baltimore, MD was pursuing a nursing degree at Towson University when a local bar came across a video of her singing online. They invited her to perform on their stage, and many more gigs started to follow. Ashley eventually quit her job as a waitress to seize these opportunities, but it was only a matter of time until the Internet would open yet another door for her.
Ashley uploaded a demo of her original song “Lust” to TikTok, which received thousands of views in only 48 hours. She needed to keep the momentum going, so she shared her new demo “Hands To Myself” on streaming platforms. The song quickly amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify, and earned her plenty of new fans as well! Songs such as “HMU if U Don’t Like Me” and “Love You From a Distance” followed, the latter receiving placements on Pop Rising, Fresh & Chill, Alone Again, and many other coveted playlists.
After sharing a teaser of “Favorite What If” on TikTok at the end of May, the time for Ashley to release the full song has finally arrived. Ashley spilled, “This song is reminiscent of all the great times you’ve had with someone you’re no longer close with. I feel like people will easily relate since we’ve all had a situation where we feel plagued with thoughts of what could have been.”
“Favorite What If” will surely propel Ashley Kutcher to the next level, and the sky’s the limit! Check it out below.
