If there’s a thought Dylan Fraser feels compelled to share with the world, he’ll be doing so in the most creative way possible. The Scottish newcomer has given listeners a nearly cinematic look into his world, with songs such as “Gucci Sweater” and “I’d Rather Be Here,” as well as their respective music videos.
But sometimes, life is everything but an award-winning film. As a matter of fact, the past year and a half has been a nightmare for many. As people tried to escape the turmoil unfolding throughout the world, they may have realized there’s plenty of turmoil unfolding in their own brains too! Keeping this in mind, it makes Dylan Fraser’s latest single “Nightmare” even more fitting for the moment. Check out the official music video below!
“Nightmare” serves as a preview for Dylan’s forthcoming EP The World Isn’t Big When You Know How It Works, out on August 20. Having partnered with Johan Lenox for string arrangements and Jonah Summerfield and Dave Hamelin for production throughout the project, rest assured that Dylan’s new EP will be larger than life.
Dylan spilled, “The new EP finds me destructing experiences in my life, be that relationships, anxiety or the weight of the world. Nobody prepares you for growing up; you have to figure it out as you go, and these seven tracks are a representation of my life in real time, doing just that.”
