Some things never change… but that’s totally not us! Our experiences are bound to influence changes of some sort in our lives, and it’s important to accept those changes. Once Bailey Coats did just that, her new pop anthem “FOMO” was born.

The singer/songwriter from Alabama has been through plenty of ups and downs in life, but her music career is on a steady climb to the top. Over the past few years, Bailey has worked with acclaimed vocal coach Robert “RAab” Stevenson (Justin Timberlake, Dave Matthews, Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, etc.) in preparation for the world to hear what her pipes are capable of. She teamed up with Grammy-award nominated producer Wirlie Morris, renowned songwriter Traci Hale, and other power players in the industry to build a solid foundation for herself.

At the very end of January 2020, Bailey was featured on Jac & Harri’s “Stand By You.” Two months later, she realized it was time for a reset, and worked hard on getting ready to re-introduce herself to the world. In October, she kicked off the new chapter of her career by releasing her debut single “Stranger Things,” produced by The Rascals. Songs such as “IDK” and “Something in the Water” followed, and “FOMO” will continue to lead listeners to Bailey’s forthcoming EP!

“One of the strangest things about life is the fact that we change and grow and learn; but it is also super scary when you realize that means YOU change,” Bailey says. “I had changed in all areas of my life at the time we wrote this song and it affected the person I was involved with. ‘FOMO’ is a song that came from a painful and doubtful place, but it is probably my favorite song to date because of its raw honesty.”

“FOMO” was Bailey’s way of getting everything off of her chest, and the song really does feel like that moment when you realize nothing is weighing you down anymore! It’s the perfect blissful pop banger to help you get through your week, AND with coming to terms that perhaps you’re better off thanks to certain changes you may have had mixed feelings about at first.
