Deep in the middle of the pandemic, Brendan DiStefano decided to start an exciting new musical endeavor as a solo artist. The frontman of indie-pop trio Navigate the Sky is no stranger to taking a DIY approach. In fact, Brendan has been writing, producing, and recording his own music since he was a teenager. Taking on a new project seemed like a nice way to spice things up during a time where some excitement would be much welcomed, and so he went for it! Brendan adopted the moniker QUIETLOVE, and he’s been busy working on great tunes for everyone to enjoy throughout the rest of this year.
QUIETLOVE’s latest single “No Feelings” dropped earlier this month, and it’s a story of doing what is best for you – even if it means letting go and feeling some temporary pain. As QUIETLOVE said, “At some point, you’ve gotta decide what’s best for you, even if it hurts like hell.” The official music video is out as well, which shows QUIETLOVE cruising through the streets on a bike in the most unbothered state possible. (Goals? Yup.)
“No Feelings” is a perfect summer jam, and one you can’t help but want to come back to over and over again. Best of all, there’s a 0% chance it’ll break your heart. I got to sit down with QUIETLOVE and catch up on his journey so far, and there’s seriously no stopping him.
It’s a tea party, and you’re invited! Check out our chat below.
