SHINee’s KEY Dropped His New Single “Hate that…” And You Love To See It!

Everyone needs to cry every now and then, you know?

When SHINee released their seventh album repackage Atlantis back in April, we got a neat little tip over VLIVE that KEY would be having a solo comeback this summer. Let’s (FACE) it though… we knew it was going to be powerful, but did we also know our first taste of his mini album would make us this emotional? By us, I mean me… but I know I’m not the only one in my feels right now, thanks to “Hate that…

KEY just released “Hate that…” featuring Taeyeon as a pre-release single for his forthcoming mini album. It’s all about the feelings of knowing someone you loved and cared so much for has completely moved on from you. It’s totally sickening, and “Hate that…” is bound to immediately validate those feelings if you’ve ever been there. This track being a duet just makes it even more powerful, not to mention KEY and Taeyeon have an undeniable chemistry that makes everything flow so well here.

And of course, “Hate that…” is only the start of what we can look forward to seeing from KEY over the next few weeks. During his countdown V LIVE broadcast earlier today, KEY revealed his mini album will be released on September 27 – no ifs or ands! He mentioned that the concept photos will be totally different than the ones we’ve seen for “Hate that…” Like, polar opposite different. KEY also announced his plans to hold a special Beyond Live concert before dropping the EP. He’s working on finalizing the setlist, and more info will be coming very soon!

September will surely be an exciting month. For now, let’s enjoy “Hate that…”
