Eric Nam Says Bye To Toxicity With “I Don’t Know You Anymore”

If your mind was like a line to get into a club, there’s bound to be certain people or things you wish could just be pulled out and kicked to the way back. After all, do they really deserve to party it up in that prime real estate?

(No. By no means.)

Some people are just really hard to get rid of, and the lingering thoughts of them can be even harder to shoo away. One way or another, you’ll need to find a way to deny them further entry into your life. Eric Nam’s brand new single “I Don’t Know You Anymore” is his story of how he did just that!

Eric spilled, “Don’t we all know someone that we wish we didn’t know? Out of pain or even just embarrassment…? ‘I Don’t Know You Anymore’ (IDKYA) was written when I was sick and tired of a few people in my life. The relationships felt toxic and I wanted to move on from them. This song is the culmination of those emotions and of that dark period when I was processing my friendships and relationships. It’s a song about being done and moving on with the mindset that these people no longer exist in your world. Hello invisible person. I don’t know you anymore.”

With that being said, feel free to blast this song and kick out anyone or anything from your life that isn’t helping you succeed! “I Don’t Know You Anymore” is the first track off Eric Nam’s upcoming sophomore album There And Back Again, arriving early next year.

Until then, make sure you give “I Don’t Know You Anymore” priority entry onto your playlists. Listen and watch the official music video below!
