Carlie Hanson is gonna do what she wants to do, and she’ll do it with pride. We’re just gonna roll with it.
The alt-pop songstress returns today with “Snot,” a recollection of a very difficult moment in Carlie’s then long-distance relationship. In the music video, Carlie can be found hanging out in a bathtub shaving off her blonde locks and getting a tattoo of her mother’s signature on her scalp. (By the way, she was totally here for it!)
“I feel like I’m doing my childhood self a favor,” Carlie spills. “There were so many moments throughout my life when people asked, ‘Are you a boy or are you a girl?’ Now I’m showing everyone that I can look however I want – no labels.”
Amen to that!
