With her new single “HEAVY,” Peach PRC is opening up about one of the most difficult periods of her life. The singer had experienced a breakup that pushed her heart and brain to the limit, and was simply trying to make sense of it all. Writing “HEAVY” helped her do just that.
“Right from the start I knew HEAVY was about more than any particular guy or relationship. It was really an exploration into my own behavior when I hit rock bottom; and how that’s too much for anyone to cope with, including myself”. – Peach PRC
In late 2020, Peach PRC posted a stripped-back version of “HEAVY” on TikTok, instantly being welcomed with open arms by her legion of followers. “I was so moved by the response,” Peach spills. “Some people even uploaded pics of themselves with the lyrics already permanently tattooed on their bodies”.
