There’s way too many words that can be used to describe your transitional years. It can be a little weird, awkward, scary, emotional… and life always seems to catch you by surprise along the way. The list is never ending, but Ruel managed to sum it all up like a pro in his new single “Growing Up Is _____“.

One can imagine that watching people come and go, traveling to new cities, and taking on new responsibilities along the way has left the 19-year-old singer with new perspectives on the world. Ruel was determined to turn them all into a refreshing, easy-listening musical experience, which reflects his growth as a person.
