You definitely don’t need permission to freak out over this news! BTS will be holding a new online concert on Sunday, October 24. “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” will allow ARMYs from all over the world to experience the magic of a BTS concert no matter where they’re located.

Let it (and by it, I mean the exciting announcement video) roll below!

(Denim Jungkook is one of the many things I live for.)

It’s been a remarkable summer for BTS and the ARMY alike, with “Butter” and “Permission To Dance” being a part of the soundtrack to it all! Last Friday, BTS released a new music video for “Permission To Dance,” featuring clips from their YouTube Shorts challenge. The group also released a new “Butter” remix with Megan Thee Stallion on August 26, which sent the guys right back to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BTS were officially appointed as “Special Presidential Envoys for Future Generations and Culture” by South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Tuesday. All of the members were also presented with diplomatic passports while at the Blue House. And of course, BTS took to Twitter to cherish the historic moment with ARMY!

As newly appointed envoys, BTS will accompany the President of South Korea at the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York. This will be the band’s third time speaking before the UNGA, having previously attended as UNICEF ambassadors in 2018 and 2020. BTS will be delivering a comforting message to today’s youth, as well as a special performance video! They will also be proving yet again that their impact extends far beyond the confines of the Internet.

Needless to say, there’s been more than quite a bit to celebrate when it comes to BTS. The “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” concert will be the perfect opportunity to party it up!

“PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” LIVESTREAM TICKETING INFO

Alright, fellow ARMYs! If you’ve attended any of BTS’ previous online concerts, you probably know the basics. However, we’ll still go over everything together below!

BTS will be holding their “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” online concert on Sunday, October 24 at 6:30PM KST. There will also be a special online soundcheck stream, beginning at 3PM KST on Sunday, October 24th! In total, there will be five ticket options available for the big night.

Tickets will be available on the Weverse Global shop starting on October 1 at 12PM KST. As always, you may view the concert on up to TWO devices at once per Weverse account. Feel free to split the cost of a ticket with a friend or family member, and enjoy the show together!

HD SINGLE VIEW – ₩49,500 (approximately $41.75 USD)

HD Single-view tickets are available for anyone to purchase! You’ll be able to watch the concert from a single camera angle. Please note that this ticket will only permit concert streaming, not soundcheck.

If you are an ARMY membership holder on Weverse, you’ll have the option to purchase one of the following:

HD MULTI VIEW – ₩49,500 (approximately $41.75 USD)

HD Multi-view tickets will allow you to toggle between six camera angles throughout the concert! Please note that this ticket in specific is for concert streaming only, soundcheck is not included.

HD MULTI VIEW + SOUNDCHECK – ₩64,500 (approximately $54.40 USD)

Not only will you be able to toggle between six camera angles throughout the concert, but you’ll also get to watch the soundcheck! If you’re an ARMY membership holder, this is your best ticket option. Soundcheck streaming will be single view.

4K SINGLE VIEW + HD MULTI VIEW – ₩59,500 (approximately $50.20 USD)

Enjoy a crystal clear angle of the show with a 4K single-view! You’ll also be able to toggle in between the six standard HD multi-view angles throughout the night. This ticket option will be sold in limited quantities due to server limitations.

4K SINGLE VIEW + HD MULTI VIEW + SOUNDCHECK – ₩74,500 (approximately $62.84 USD)

Who says you can’t have it all? With this ticket option, you’ll be able to watch the show from a fixed 4k single view camera. You’ll still be able to choose between the six standard HD multi-view angles, and you’ll also get to watch the soundcheck special. This ticket option will be sold in limited quantities due to server limitations.

DELAYED VIEWING

Want to enjoy “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” a second time? You’ll be able to catch a replay of the entire concert (aka a “delayed” stream) on October 31 at 10AM KST. This will be an HD single-view stream only, and does not include soundcheck viewing.

VERIFYING YOUR TICKETS

Once you purchase your tickets on the Weverse Global shop, head on over to Venewlive and sign in using your Weverse login credentials. Click on the “Validate Ticket” option, and you’ll be all set to go!

The virtual doors (aka the “enter” button) will open an hour before the concert, and 30 minutes before the soundcheck stream.

As stated earlier, you’ll be able to enjoy the streams from up to two devices at once per Weverse account! Once a third device logs in, the first one will be logged out automatically.

Don’t forget to set money aside for official merch!

And that’s all there is to it! This post will be updated if any changes occur.

BTS can’t wait to e-meet you at “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” … and I can’t wait to see them again! If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to drop a comment below, or hit me up via Twitter/email.

If you buy a ticket for the main show, it will automatically come with access to the delayed stream! There is no option to buy a ticket *just* for the delayed stream. Also note, the soundcheck portion will not be shown in the delayed stream.

Why do we have to buy tickets, why can’t it be free? A lot of ARMY won’t be able to see it because we don’t have money. This is one thing that angers me from being in this fandom. For the delayed concert, do we have to buy tickets?

It is ultimately your choice whether you actually purchase a ticket or not, but keep the production costs and efforts of the guys + everyone behind the scenes in mind. All throughout the pandemic, countless artists (not just BTS!) have done these pay-per-view live streams, and as in-person shows resume, many are choosing to continue doing them on platforms like Venewlive, Moment House, Veeps, Beyond Live on V Live, etc. in order to reach fans globally. These shows are here to stay, so it isn’t a fandom exclusive thing 🙂
