Amanda Reifer is more ready than ever to take over the world, and after listening to her new single “Bag,” you will be too!
While growing up in the Caribbean, Amanda had the pleasure of joining her parents in listening to a wide array of artists from day to day. Anyone (and everyone) from Bob Marley to Céline Dion would enter her ears, inevitably leading her to belt out their tunes. As Amanda’s appreciation for music grew, she decided to take dance and piano lessons. She also started writing her own songs, and immersing herself in the works of artists such as Sade, Amy Winehouse, Kelis, Madonna, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill, and more!
Amanda went on to become the frontwoman for pop quartet Cover Drive, scoring three Top 10 hits in the UK and a #1 with the single “Twilight.” Amanda decided to go solo in 2018, ready to create music that reflects her own experience as a woman. Last year, Amanda’s single “Rich B*tch Juice” raked in over 1 million streams, creating waves all throughout the world. Now signed to Republic Records, Amanda is ready to rev-up her engine once again with “Bag.”
“Exploring sounds gives me the ownership of different emotions,” Amanda says. “I want to pass on that feeling though. When you listen to me, I hope you have a sense of your own power, ability, and confidence. I’m like a blinding energy source surging through – a little intimidating but you want to be near it.”
