Friends come and go, but corook’s new single “bad friend” is here to stay!

Just two months after releasing their debut single “sims,” corook is back to hold our hands as we walk through the bittersweet realities of humanity. In “bad friend,” corook confronts a familiar feeling of friendships fizzling out. Sometimes friends naturally grow apart, but being told so doesn’t necessarily block the feelings of being a bad friend from taking over. (Yup, corook has been there!)

corook wrote “bad friend” after moving to Nashville once she had finished college. She spilled, “It was the first time since college that I moved to a city without knowing anyone. The song is a reflection of my struggle to maintain friendships throughout the different phases of my life. Writing it with my girlfriend allowed me to tap into the vulnerability and insecurity that comes with that struggle.”

If you want to be besties with the emerging pop star, you can catch their supporting K.Flay on the Inside Voices Outside Voices Tour this spring! It all kicks off on February 10 in Charlotte, NC, with dates running through mid-march.
