It’s all eyes on Wonho today!
After making the world swoon with his September 2021 mini album Blue Letter, Wonho has returned with his new single album OBSESSION. The project truly helps show off Wonho’s duality as an artist, as he effortlessly creates both a sweet and sexy vibe across the two tracks “Eye On You” and “Somebody.”
If Wonho’s mission was to reel listeners in as quickly as possible, “Eye On You” gets the job done. As the beat begins to make your blood rush, Wonho makes it clear that you and him have one another’s attention!
“Sometimes there are people who look at others with stereotypes, as if they were wearing colored glasses,” Wonho spills. “In the music for ‘EYE ON YOU,’ you’ll see there are CCTVs that follow me, representing one’s gaze. The track originally started off with the theme of one’s gaze, but as I progressed with the songwriting, it turned into a topic that one could apply to various stories. In my opinion, it could also be interpreted as a love song, and apply to many different scenarios.”
It’s a pleasure to be treated to new music from Wonho, and OBSESSION opens the door for even more great surprises from the singer this year. He said, “I’m grateful that I’m able to greet my fans with my first single album in the year 2022. It feels like we are starting a new year together!
