Valentine’s Day might be over, but QUIETLOVE isn’t quite ready to move on.
Brendan DiStefano, aka QUIETLOVE, has been working hard on brand new music through the new year. After all – it’s what he truly loves! The genre-bending artist from Toronto is back today to give us another flavor of his love with his new single “Not Ready to Go.”
QUIETLOVE says, “‘Not Ready to Go’ paints a vivid image of the hopeless romantic in all of us, clinging to the last bits of a bond inescapably crumbling to pieces. It’s inevitable that it has to end, but helplessly you clutch onto the remnants of what’s left – even just for a minute. I co-wrote this song with a friend of mine, BRDGS, in his studio he’s dubbed as ‘Vibe City.’ We definitely caught the vibe that day.”
Even if you’ve ran out of that leftover V-Day candy, you’ll still be satisfied by the sweet treat that is this song. By the way, QUIETLOVE enjoys those leftover candies too! He said, “I love those little candy hearts that have quotes on them like “you rock, don’t ever change”, they’re definitely my favourite.”
