Justus Bennetts and GAYLE’s new single “Don’t Trip” may just give listeners a better high than drugs ever could.

It’s fair to say GAYLE and Justus Bennetts know a thing or two about writing catchy, delightfully angsty songs meant to be shouted from the top of your lungs… ideally from a rooftop, or while you destroy some letters from your ex-whoever. As both artists continue their missions to be voices for our generation, Justus and GAYLE have come together to give us a bold new alt-pop anthem to help convey feelings of disgust.

As a high schooler in North Carolina, Justus Bennetts turned to music to help make sense of the confusion and chaos of his teenage years. Once working as a car salesman, Justus started becoming even more focused on his music, and turned his laundry room into a studio. All along, Justus hoped to make music that others will be able to relate to, and in 2021, he gave the world tracks such as “Replace You,” “Real Life Sux,” and “Bad Day.”

GAYLE also took the world by storm in 2021 with the release of “abcdefu,” which currently sits at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The RIAA Gold certified single has been inescapable, and continues to rank high on charts all around the world. She recently announced her debut EP, a study of the human experience volume one, and will be bringing Justus along for her Feeling It Together Tour!

“Don’t Trip” is further proof that both Justus and GAYLE are unstoppable. Heck, you’ll feel unstoppable as well once you press play.

It’s just a young adult thing, ya know? Check out “Don’t Trip” below!
