Everyone gets excited when they’re getting ready to see their favorite artists live. But if you’re MØ, you’ll be equally as excited to see your fans… and you’ll make sure they know!
It’s been a while since MØ took the stage, but this doesn’t mean the Danish singer/songwriter has taken an extended break from the spotlight. Throughout the lockdown, MØ had been working on new music, and delivered her latest album Motordrome this past January. On March 13, she was elated to be able to bring these new songs to live at The Observatory in San Diego. Of course, she also performed plenty of classic crowd favorites, such as “Nostalgia,” “Nights With You,” “Blur,” and “Lean On.”
Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of MØ’s performance was the level of appreciation she had for her fans. Throughout the show, she took a few moments to express her gratitude and soak in the fact she’s back on tour in America. Towards the end, she made a pause to do a wellness check on some fans in the front of the crowd. (Being in a standing room crowd can get pretty hot!) But throughout the night, MØ also jumped off the stage and sang along with fans on the barricade. If she felt like taking a seat, she’d do so on the edge of the stage, expanding her connection with her fans even further. A stripped version of “Don’t Leave” was performed in its entirety from this position, making the moment even more magical!
Creating lasting memories with the ones you love the most? It doesn’t get much better than that.
