Feel like your brain is blanking out today? Hey, it’s all good – BLANK2Y will naturally stay on your mind!
The powerful new boy group has just released their debut mini album K2Y I: CONFIDENCE [Thumbs Up], worthy of not only your attention, but your praise as well.
BLANK2Y consists of members DK, Donghyuk, Louis, Mikey, Siwoo, So Dam, Sungjun, U, and Youngbin. Each member was revealed one by one on the group’s YouTube Channel during the early days of 2022, with individual videos showing off their talents.
You may notice some familiar faces too on the BLANK2Y lineup! Several members have participated in survival shows, as well as formerly active groups. Take Louis for example, who was a member of 1the9. Donghyuk was also a member of ENOi. Siwoo competed in Produce X 101, while Mikey participated in season two of Produce 101 Japan. There’s also Youngbin, who recently appeared on I-LAND.
The name BLANK2Y” brings the words “BLANK” and “KEY” together, and offers a great promise to fans. Their debut is somewhat of a clean slate, or in this case, a blank canvas waiting to be painted with the colors of each member’s personalities and skills. As BLANK2Y’s activities continue, they’ll unlock new surprises and make even more strides towards fulfilling their dreams.
“Thumbs Up” provides a large burst of energy to listeners, reminding them that BLANK2Y hopes to be unstoppable. The members also keep the enthusiasm up with “Touch,” a track worthy of becoming a summer hit.
