mxmtoon is a queen, and on May 24 she reminded San Diego exactly why she’s worthy of such a title. Maia waltzed on stage and performed crowd favorites from all corners of her catalog, including her new album rising. It was hard to not be hypnotized by her glowing vocals! It was also difficult to not feel like a proud mama in the crowd, as Maia took a moment to reflect upon her last visit to San Diego and her previous performance at the House of Blues Voodoo Room.
