2022 will truly be aespa’s year.
After a fierce appearance at Coachella in April, fans could smell new music right around the corner. Sure enough, the group has officially announced the release of their new mini album Girls, out July 8.
Girls – The 2nd Mini Album will be led by the single “Life’s Too Short,” which will be released on June 24. That might *still* be one heck of a wait for those who have been enjoying Savage – The 1st Mini Album inside out since its release last fall. No worries though – aespa has our backs!
As a special treat, aespa decided to release the sneak peek track “Illusion” at once to help us welcome in the new era. As with every aespa song, “Illusion” is full of fearless energy and a beat you can truly shake your hips to.
Simultaneously, aespa is being welcomed into the Warner Records roster, as part of a global partnership between the label and SM Entertainment.
“We are thrilled to be welcomed into the Warner Records’ family and so grateful to have them on board as we embark on our next chapter,” says aespa. “We are excited for what’s in store, including the release of our new project, Girls – The 2nd Mini Album this summer and being named Apple Music’s Up Next artist!”
