When you think of the word classy, what are some of the things that immediately come to your mind? For me, it’s standing up straight, having perfectly ironed clothing, speaking in a very specific tone and volume, and ultimately… being a little boring.

Thankfully, the new 4th generation K-Pop queens CLASS:y are out here continuing to give the word CLASS a whole new meaning. At the start of May, the group debuted with the mini album CLASS IS OVER, led by the explosive title track “SHUT DOWN.” After some music show performances and other fun activities as a newly active group, the girls returned to give fans even more music with LIVES ACROSS, released on May 26.
Tracks such as “DIVIN’ INTO YOU” and “SAME SAME DIFFERENT” offer a bold, anthemic, summer-ready vibe. The title track “CLASSY” finds the group not only continuing to express their confidence and charisma, but fully owning it! This can especially be felt in the new music video for the song, as each member shines and shows off their individuality. Maybe that’s the true meaning of class – owning who you really are, and letting the world know you do.
