It’s getting hot in here!
SUNMI has returned with her new single album “Heart Burn,” the perfect project to help us get through the most scorching days of the summer.
“Heart Burn” is a gentle, yet glowing track that finds SUNMI singing about sizzling summer love. As the vibrant notes of a guitar swirl around the atmosphere, one can twirl around in circles as they envision themselves with their true love this season.
(By the way, it doesn’t have to be a person! I can totally picture myself sitting in a park with a little picnic blanket, having a plate of fried chicken and my laptop by my side as this song plays in the background. Food and technology… honestly that’s all I need in life.)
In contrast to SUNMI’s most recent electro-pop releases, it’s great to see her take a stride in a slightly different sonic direction! Can we say that she’s in her Kacey Musgraves era… erspecially with the music video for “Heart Burn”? Better yet, can the two collab?
Fans around the world will have the chance to ~vibe~ in person to “Heart Burn” and its nostalgic B-side “Childhood” when SUNMI hits the road later this year! The singer has also announced her 2022 ‘GOOD GIRL GONE MAD’ tour, which kicks off in Warsaw, Poland on August 14.
The North American leg will begin in Chicago on September 2, and lead SUNMI to New York, Toronto, Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver. Check out the list of tour dates below!
