It’s only fair that the world is getting to know gigi‘s musical gifts in 2022. The New York-based singer-songwriter has mesmerized the ears of listeners everywhere with her singles “The Man” and “Sometimes (Backwood),” which has now surpassed 60 million streams on Spotify. She recently opened up for Coldplay in Tampa, and will be joining Noah Cyrus on tour this fall.
Needless to say, gigi is on a roll, and we all most definitely love to see it! Today, she returns to roll out yet another breathtaking single titled “When She Smiles.”
gigi says, “I wrote ‘When She Smiles’ over a year ago about the dynamic between infatuation and abuse of power. It’s about what it’s like to know you are in a toxic relationship yet still experience a sense of disillusionment and disconnect from the severity because you find everything they do still has a sense of wonder to it. The acknowledgment of knowing you should walk away but still finding reasons to stay that are not logical to anyone else.”
