I’m being 100% honest here, it’s so hard to not want to play New Hope Club’s latest offering over and over again. If avoiding the replay button were a challenge, I’d fail miserably. But guess what? I’d also find comfort in the fact that I wouldn’t be alone there!
The UK pop-rock trio comprised of Blake Richardson, Reece Bibby, and George Smith continues their pattern of releasing double-sided singles with “L.U.S.H.” and “Walk It Out.”
Each song is a perfect embodiment of its title. The word “lush” means something amazing, fresh, and desirable in UK slang. With ultra-vibrant melodies created by sizzling guitar riffs, “L.U.S.H.” will remind you of those youthful summer evenings you simply didn’t want to end. The title also serves as an acronym for “Love U So Hard,” and let’s face it… how could someone not love the nostalgic feel of this bop?!
As for “Walk It Out,” the track is laced with cheeky handclaps and an amped-up beat that invites listeners to not only get up and walk, but jump around as well.
More new music from New Hope Club is on the horizon, including a sophomore album in Spring 2023. For now, let’s all enjoy the heck out of “L.U.S.H.” and “Walk It Out.”
