If you think you’re ready to spill some tea, you’d better get on Bea Miller’s level.
Wait… allow me to backtrack for a second. I hope what I just said wasn’t TOO harsh, but Bea’s new single “jealous of my friends” is as honest as it gets. When was the last time you or anyone you knew just admitted to feeling envious of others around them who seemed to be doing better in some aspect of their lives?
These feelings can be hard to share with others, and hopefully “jealous of my friends” will remind you that it’s all part of the human experience. The song also finds Bea Miller waltzing a little further into the pop-punk world, which is worthy of a billion heart-eyes emojis.
Bea says, “’jealous of my friends’ is a song I was honestly a bit hesitant to release. nobody wants to admit that they feel anything but proud and excited for their friends when they accomplish or experience great things. I think though, that it’s only human nature to grapple with pride and jealousy every once in a while, and I’m hoping that if people relate to this song, they’ll be a little bit less hard on themselves for it, knowing they’re not the only one.”
