It’s important to feel comfortable in your own skin. After all, there’s no such thing as swapping bodies in this life! Determined to help uplift every listener, Eurovision finalist Alessandra presents her new single “Pretty Devil.”
It’s not far-fetched to say Alessandra was born to shine. The rising star entered (and won!) her first singing competition when she was just 6 years old. After moving from Italy to Norway, Alessandra took her singing career to the next level with a music education, participating in The Voice, and eventually joining the Eurovision Song Contest.
Alessandra’s selection for Eurovision was an original song titled “Queen of Kings,” and brought her to 5th place in the finals. The song was loved by the entire world though, and saw itself quickly climbing up the official charts in multiple countries.
As you probably guessed, Alessandra is thrilled to continue to build up her repertoire and eventually head out on tour. Self-love is something very close to the 20-year-old’s heart, so releasing a song that encourages listeners to be proud of who they are is super important to her.
“I am very engaged with the concept that you should be proud of yourself and give yourself self-love, but I want to say it in a sassy and slightly funny way in my music,” Alessandra spills. “I want the music to be powerful, but well-thought out. I hope I can be a role model who one day can contribute to self-love being taught in schools.”
“Pretty Devil” has a hook that will live in your mind rent-free, and leave you with no option but to dance around! “The song is about me singing to a girl that knows that she’s gorgeous, but at the same time carries a lot of insecurities with her,” explains Alessandra. “The goal of the song is for her to see herself the same way I see her. I love when she is herself and proud of it. Just ‘be the pretty devil you are.”
