Prepare to have Will Swinton‘s new single “Daydream” stuck in your mind!
Sharing emotions as raw as fresh honey, “Daydream” finds the 22-year-old singer from New Zealand wishing a certain someone would no longer appear on his mind.
“‘Daydream‘ came from a dream that I had. In the dream I was in a studio session with FINNEAS, and he played me music,” Will said. “He plays it and it was the melody to ‘Daydream.’ I don’t remember the words exactly, but I made a voice memo of it as soon as I woke up.”
In October 2023, Will Swinton released his incredible debut EP Better Days. The seven track EP takes listeners on a journey through some moments and memories that were more bitter than sweet for Will, but it also shares the process of him moving on. “Daydream” is WIll’s first release since then, and showcases a level of raw emotion that will be hard to forget.
