Leah Marie Mason is giving the gift of honesty this Galentine’s Day through her new single “YOUR BOYFRIEND SUCKS.”
As her first official venture into the pop space, the Nashville-based singer has crafted a buoyant, memorable song that champions the spirit of true sisterhood. “YOUR BOYFRIEND SUCKS” is a song that can ultimately help motivate a friend (or even yourself!) to begin breaking away from a sticky situation.
Leah says, “I have this stunning, gorgeous, smart, outgoing, funny as hell friend that had been seeing this guy for a few months, and it felt like every week I heard her tell me the most awful stories about how he treated her. I was always so confused as to WHAT her infatuation with him was because he… sucked! She is THE best person and friend and she deserves to be treated that way! The song is brutally honest but I believe it’s for the better because that’s what a real friend does.”

Leah Marie Mason started sharing her musical gifts with others as a teen, performing in a rock cover band with her brother. The experience made Leah realize she wanted to pursue music as a career, so she attended Belmont University and became immersed in Nashville’s music scene. Leah released her debut EP Honeydew & Hennessy in 2023, and is excited to invite listeners along for the next chapter of her journey with a fresh new sound.
