Being in the driver seat gives a person a sense of control. Even being in the passenger side can make someone feel like they have some power. But how about being in the back seat?
Isaac Dunbar‘s latest single “Backseat Girl” takes listeners on a ride through a nostalgic, ’70s inspired soundscape as he sings about how it’s like to feel as though life is just passing by you.
Isaac says, “To be a backseat girl is to feel like you are missing out. Sitting in the backseat, you miss out on all the laughter, the fun, and conversations that everybody else gets to experience. It’s an anthem for the girl who feels lonely.”
