Alt-pop singer Germano is back with “sorry i’m a mess,” his first single of 2024!
“sorry i’m a mess” tells the story of the ending of a relationship, from the perspective of someone who feels as though they themselves are the problem.
Germano says, “For a second, I believed this person was right about ending things with me and started
questioning the entire relationship. It was so out of left field to me that I thought I was the one to
blame for the breakup, even though I later realized most of the reasons they gave me were
actually out of my control. In the video, I explore this supposed ‘messy’ side and create a world where I am, in fact, problematic and make some questionable moves in a desperate attempt to get this person back.”
“sorry i’m a mess” is the first of many new singles Germano has written and is ready to share this summer. The D.I.Y. artist prides himself in being able to keep an honest approach with his songwriting, and present his listeners with self-aware lyrics.
