19-year-old singer Kate Peytavin has served up a true audible treat with her new single “make u miss me.”
Known for blending moody lyrics about the struggles of love together with cool alt-pop soundscapes, Kate Peytavin has carved out quite a promising trajectory for herself. As a follow up for releases such as “whole heart black” and “i don’t feel anything,” Kate returns to free her mind from obsession in “make u miss me.”
Vulnerability takes center stage in the song, as Kate recounts many feelings that lingered around for longer than expected.
“‘make u miss me’ was born out of a raw, intense moment,” Kate shares. “I had spent too long trapped in my delusions and denial over someone who didn’t care about me. The instant I faced reality, I was overwhelmed by a torrent of emotions. I channeled my anger, sadness, confusion, and jealousy into creating this chaotic whirlwind of a song that I love so much.”
