Adrian Lyles’ new single “Somewhere to Go” is so damn good.
You may recognize Adrian for playing the role of Jet on seasons 3 and 4 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Adrian has had a lifelong relationship with making music though, starting with piano lessons at just three years old. As a tween, he performed at various events throughout the Dallas area. Adrian released his first official single “Formalize Me” in September 2024, and is currently gearing up to release a debut album!
“Somewhere to Go” is a vulnerable track from Adrian, as he sings from the perspective of someone longing for their former partner’s return. With explosive melodies fueled by pungent guitar riffs and the distinctive rawness of Adrian’s voice, “Somewhere to Go” is a song that truly packs an emotional punch.
“Love songs are much harder to write than everybody thinks,” says Noah. “I tend to go about it in a very real way. ‘Somewhere To Go’ follows the story of this guy who’s in love with a girl and she’s his sanctuary – the concept of not finding home in a place, but in a person.”
Adrian Lyles will also be joining almost monday as support on their newly announced ‘DIVE tour.’ The US run will kick off on January 24 in Salt Lake City, UT. More information can be found here.
