[PICS!] Alex Sampson @ House of Blues San Diego – February 7, 2026

Canadian singer-songwriter Alex Sampson brought his ‘Thank You For Loving Me Tour’ to San Diego on February 7. Eager fans assembled at the House of Blues Voodoo Room to cheer on Alex during the second stop of the tour. With this being his first headline tour, there was plenty to look forward to from Alex — and he exceeded all expectations!

Alex Sampson grew up in a small town in northwestern Ontario, and started sharing his talents with the world back in 2019. Videos of Alex performing covers of songs from artists such as Ruth B and Ed Sheeran filled his YouTube page, and have now amassed millions of views. Alex also earned a legion of devoted fans worldwide following him on TikTok and Instagram, and in time, there was no denying that he was destined to become a star.

After finding himself in LA and signing a deal with Warner Records in 2023, Alex went on to release his first EP, Blurry Vision. Not long after, Alex was invited to compete in America’s Got Talent, making it to the semifinals.

Alex’s songs are written and performed with a personal touch that can be felt in the depths of your heart, and hearing his voice live is a truly satisfying experience. Special guests Rikki Lumi and maryjo also joined Alex as support for the evening.
