The Jonas Brothers just released their fifth studio album, Happiness Begins. This is their first studio album since 2009. We waited a whole decade for this moment – can you believe it?
Happiness Begins includes previously released singles “Sucker” and “Cool”, and 12 other tracks that will definitely make you feel some type of way. The album was executive produced by Ryan Tedder, who also co-wrote many of the songs.
It’s not a stretch to say that it could take a while for some tracks on Happiness Begins to grow on fans. This is a totally different sound than the one A Little Bit Longer had to offer. Many of the tracks are slower, which didn’t come as a surprise to me since many artists now are trying to ride the chill wave. The whole album is much more mature… since you know… we’re all grown now.
But if you prefer faster, more upbeat tunes (like me), you’ll still love Happiness Begins! “Only Human” and “Every Single Time” are solid summer anthems.
Well, what are you waiting for? Seriously, if you waited until you finished reading all of this to give the album a listen, I’m lowkey disappointed.
