BTS Releases ‘Map Of The Soul ON:E’ Concert Details

Not too long ago, BigHit Entertainment announced that BTS would be holding an in-person concert in Seoul! The event, titled MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E, would be live-streamed for the enjoyment of ARMYs all over the world. And, unlike June’s BANGBANGCON: The Live event, MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E would have a full stage production. The lucky ARMYs in attendance would all be following social distancing guidelines.

Ah, what a dream… except it’s real life!

Today, details about the live streamed show’s ticketing options were released via Weverse. Although it may have seemed like a ton of information, here’s a breakdown of it all! (In “baby language,” of course.)

DETAILS! DETAILS!

The MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E concerts will take place on October 10 at 19:00 KST (3AM Pacific) and on October 11 at 16:00 KST (12AM Pacific.) In addition, there will be an online exhibition titled BTS EXHIBITION MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E! The exhibition is considered a different event than the concerts.

There will be different ticketing packages available for ARMYs who choose to experience the weekend in their own way! HD multi view packages allow you to watch the event on up to two devices at once (per Weverse account) in 1080p HD. Multi view allows ARMYs to watch the show from different camera angles. Feel free to stick to one view, or switch it up every now and then!

You can purchase tickets for night 1, night two, or both nights. You can also purchase combo tickets for the exhibition and either night of the concert, exhibition + both nights of the concerts, or just an exhibition ticket alone.

Anyone who is a BTS GLOBAL OFFICIAL FANCLUB ARMY MEMBERSHIP holder that purchases an HD multi view ticket will receive 10,000 won in Weverse Shop Cash.

BTS GLOBAL OFFICIAL FANCLUB ARMY MEMBERSHIP holders also have the opportunity to purchase 4K single view + multi view ticket options. These are available in limited quantities, and will allow you to experience the show with a 4K camera angle option, on top of the HD multi view options.

Tickets for the concert and exhibition can only be purchased via the Weverse Shop app. Below is the price breakdown for everything!

MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

Tickets for the 10/10 concert and exhibition package, 10/11 concert and exhibition package, and 2 Day Pass and exhibition package will go on sale starting on September 16 at 13:00 KST. Only one product (aka ticket) may be purchased per day. No need to have two tickets for one night, am I right?

If you would like to purchase a ticket to see the exhibition ONLY, you may do so starting on October 13 at 10:00 KST on the Weverse Shop.

If you are planning on purchasing a package with an exhibition pass, you may only purchase one of those per Weverse account. For example, if I wanted to purchase the HD multi view + Exhibition PKG for 10/10, I would need to buy a ticket without an exhibition add-on for 10/11.

The exhibition can be viewed ONLY on a computer. There is a special client program that must be downloaded in order to view the exhibition. You will only be able to view the exhibition for 24 hours after your initial login. The exhibition will also be provided in English and Korean! For technical info, visit bts-exhibition20.com.

This time around, the concert tickets do not include re-watch VOD services. This means that a month after the show, you will not be able to log back into Weverse and re-watch the shows.

AND THAT’S THE GIST OF IT!

By the way, remember to keep streaming “Dynamite” while we wait!

UPDATE 9/25: The offline portion of the MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E concerts have been cancelled.

UPDATE 10/5: There will be a “delayed single view streaming” option for each show! Basically, this will be a one time replay of each performance in single-view mode. The October 10 performance will be re-shown on October 11 at 11AM KST. The October 11 performance will be re-show on October 12 at 11AM KST.
