If you’ve been on TikTok at some point over the past few months, you’ve likely heard Claire Rosinkranz’s jubilant single “Backyard Boy.” The viral track has been featured in over 2 million videos on the platform, received over 35 million streams on Spotify, and has reached the #1 spot on the Spotify Global and US Viral 50 charts!
Claire Rosinkranz is a 16-year-old multi-talented artist from California. Claire has been penning her own music since she was eight years old, and comes from a musical family. Her mother has written books and songs for children, and her grandmother is an opera singer. Claire would also assist her father in coming up with melodies and lyrics for songs he’d create for TV shows and advertisements. Over the summer, Claire inked a deal with slowplay/Republic Records. She also launched her debut EP BeVerly Hills BoYfRiEnd, which was written, recorded, and produced with her dad at their home studio.
Needless to say, this has been an exciting few months for Claire Rosinkranz, and the excitement continues! Today, Claire is back with a stripped down version of “Backyard Boy.” Coming thru with some more chill vibes to indulge in, Claire is sending a message to the world that her takeover is just beginning.
