For years, Dillon Francis has been recognized as one of the liveliest forces in the dance music scene. The superstar DJ/producer has showcased his free-spirited personality on countless occasions over social media, his sets, and even through his music. Today, Dillon is giving everyone yet another taste of it with his new single “Be Somebody” featuring Evie Irie!
“Be Somebody” is filled with tangy guitar riffs, and lyrics that will make you want to crush any obstacles you may face and stereotypes that you’ve been given along the way. (Seriously, the power “That’s me on your poster / Tell your friends that you know her” holds… we love it!) It’s especially an anthem for those of us who felt like outcasts back in high school… and perhaps still do. Dillon says, “’Be Somebody’ is an ode to all the people that told me I was just a class clown and wasn’t gonna make it.”
Evie also shared, “Be Somebody is Dillon’s story, and I’m so lucky to help share it. When he was telling me the inspiration behind his idea, I totally related to it. Just a small kid with big dreams in a school ground.”
