daydream Masi grew up in Akon, Ohio, and was often classified as an outsider. In high school, Masi swapped sports for music, and quickly gained popularity among his peers. Fast forward to 2019, Masi released his Interscope debut single “Nightlife.” He went on to release his first EP The Slow Rage Project, earning him praise from notable music tastemakers. Masi also wrapped up the year in a grand way with his track “Favorite Drug” making its way onto the “13 Reasons Why” soundtrack!
It’s a new year, and daydream Masi is ready to roll once again. His new single “Animal Style” is out today, allowing listeners to venture into his thoughts about a potential relationship with someone and where it might head.
Masi says, “I’m excited to be sharing music again. I never stopped but it took a year to make it out. The person who inspired me at the time didn’t particularly like it but it’s a banger so, here you go, world!”
