Escaping a sticky situation can be a relief, but it can also leave you with plenty of time to reflect. It’s important to try to learn from all of your experiences, and Reese Posten is packing his reflections into his brand new single “Not Done.”
Reese Posten hails from the Bay Area, and has been in love with music from a very young age. He’s been recording and publishing his own tunes for five years, and just wants to deliver a sound that deviates from what many others are doing. He says, “I’ve always been obsessed with making music and I’m constantly trying to figure out who I am as musician. I love experimenting and learning more about my identity through music.”
“Not Done” is Reese’s first release of 2021, following his sunkissed single “One Less” with FredTheBlackKid. “This song is about regret and figuring out what the cause of your problems has been in your life,” Reese details. “It has a feeing of relief and weightlessness that offers listeners an escape that they can relate to. This song helped be understand a lot of things in my life that I had been struggling with and I’m really excited to share this one.”
