Lund Releases Heart-Snatching New Single ‘Reckless’

No matter the situation, Lund’s music is here for you.

ℒund grew up in Moreno Valley, roughly an hour east of Los Angeles. He was born to high school-aged parents, and lived with his paternal grandparents as his mother struggled with drugs and father faced severe mental health issues. Lund’s grandfather gave him a few guitar lessons at the age of six, as he soaked in a diverse mix of music. He thoroughly enjoyed the sounds of artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Coldplay, N.W.A. and Gravediggaz. For Lund, this would mark the beginning of a lifelong love for music.

As a teen, Lund played the trumpet and was a part of his school’s marching band and orchestra. One day he came across Ableton, and he found himself passing through a new frontier of creativity. By his junior year of high school, Lund was producing his own songs in his home studio. From vocals to instrumentation and production, Lund became someone who did it all – and did it on his own.

One day, Lund decided to upload his vulnerable breakup anthem “Broken” onto SoundCloud. Little did he know, “Broken” would quickly make waves around the web. The song currently sits at 226 million plus streams on Spotify alone. Independent projects Gold and BlkBird followed, as well as songs like “Low,” “Heartache” feat. Foreign Forest, and “Skin & Bones.”

Last year, Lund released his Projects of a Person EP over at his new home Republic Records. “Reckless” is his first drop since then, and is sure to help mend broken hearts. Check it out below!
