LIGHTSUM is Cube Entertainment’s brand new girl group, and the first to debut under the company since (G)I-DLE in 2018. Members Sangah, Chowon, Nayoung, Hina, Juhyeon, Yujeong, Huiyeon, and Jian are ready to radiate positive energy throughout the world with their vibrant songs and performances. The name LIGHTSUM represents the groups mission to do just that.
“Vanilla” offers a warm welcome into LIGHTSUM’s sugar-coated world, one which you won’t intend on departing from anytime soon! The song captures the excitement of being in love, as well as the adrenaline rush of being able to start something new. Of course, today is a new beginning for eight girls who adore being able to entertain others, so “Vanilla” feels like the most fitting debut track possible for LIGHTSUM.
