XYLØ Channels Her Inner “sweetheart” Into New Single

Sometimes you just need to treat yourself…

And by treating yourself, we mean treating yourself well. This could range from going out to get coffee at your favorite spot, to cutting off anyone who has wrecked havoc in your life. XYLØ’s new single “sweetheart” is all about doing just that! The alt-pop singer/songwriter teamed up with long-time collaborator Lee Newell to cultivate a glistening track to roll your windows down to and speed past any fears you may have about parting ways with anything or anyone who isn’t really benefiting you.

“sweetheart is a metaphor for regaining control of your life,” XYLØ says. “The song was inspired by the journey of my career and the fear of ending toxic relationships. But with that fear came confidence and happiness after I found the balls to do it.”

“sweetheart” follows XYLØ’s January single “aliens,” which helped usher in a new era for the artist. More music is right around the corner, so stay tuned!
