It was just a year ago when morgen formally introduced herself to the world with the reflective single “Odd One Out.” Since then, the singer/songwriter has spilled her heart out in her debut EP Unaccompanied Minor, received support from Elton John, found herself in the top rankings of the Australian radio charts, and is ready to roll out more music this year!
Starting off her new era with her new single “Mom Jeans,” morgen delivers a short, but sweet (and successful) clapback at those who have tried to dictate how she can express herself through her fashion choices.
“’Mom Jeans’ is the first time I’ve truly spoken out in a song,” says morgen. “It’s about body image and how people’s opinions shouldn’t affect the way you present yourself, because you deserve to wear whatever makes YOU feel good.”
