Multi-talented singer/songwriter Jax is back once again to crush societal norms… and very soon, the charts as well!
Bearing a message of self-love and independence, Jax’s new single “Cinderella Snapped” puts a refreshing twist on a fairytale we all grew up with. What if all of a sudden, Cinderella decided she DIDN’T need her Prince Charming? After all, this dude is giving MAJOR player vibes… and Cinderella isn’t here for it! Cinderella knows her worth, and hopefully this song will remind you of yours too!
Jax says, “I wanted to write a song from Cinderella’s perspective, if she and all the princesses rewrote their stories and burned the fairytale system down. My intention was to throw a little dose of equality into the stories I grew up with. I always wondered how it would have shaped who I was if all the princesses I looked up to had more purpose than being saved by a prince.”
Thanks to her RIAA-certified Gold single “Victoria’s Secret,” it’s safe to say Jax had a pretty successful 2022. The songstress hoped to encourage body positivity and an anti-bullying message in the alt-pop anthem, and millions of listeners worldwide resonated! Jax was invited to perform “Victoria’s Secret” on The TODAY show, Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve, and even the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
This summer, Jax will join Big Time Rush on the North American leg of their Can’t Get Enough Tour – kicking off in Fort Worth, TX on June 22. Prepare to jump around like crazy when you hear “Cinderella Snapped” live!
