Leave it to BTS to get me way too far up in my feels in just a few minutes!
It’s been nearly 10 years since BTS made their debut, and ARMY is getting nostalgic, sharing their favorite memories of the group’s incredible journey from 2013 onward. It wouldn’t be a birthday party without presents though, so BTS are sharing a timely new digital single titled “Take Two” to commemorate the occasion.
“Take Two” is a gorgeous pop-rock ballad that will be easy for anyone to digest. All seven members participated in the song, with production by SUGA and lyrics from RM and j-hope. Most importantly, it’s heartfelt love letter from BTS to ARMY, thanking them for being so loyal for so many years. Even when the journey seemed dark and scary for BTS, there was no doubt that ARMY illuminated that path(way) BTS paved so that together, we could all continue to venture into new territory and make history.
Members Jin and j-hope are currently serving in the South Korean military, with the rest of the members soon to follow. This is a challenging time for both BTS and ARMY, but the level of adoration and dedication is mutual, and will help facilitate the rest of BTS’ “Chapter Two” and beyond. Won’t you continue to wait for BTS and stay by their side?
