Maisie Peters turned the Hollywood Palladium into a giant dance party, and you totally had to be there! On September 30, the alt-pop singer brought “The Good Witch” tour to LA, performing songs from her sophomore album of the same title.
As soon as Maisie Peters hit the stage, it was as if a huge ball of energy had burst in the theater and drenched the crowd! Maisie has a very vibrant stage prescience, and seemed to cover just about every inch of the stage as she jumped, danced, and leaned into the crowd to sing her pop gems.
It seemed as though Maisie was truly living her best life performing, and the feeling was visibly mutual for audience members too! Many fans danced in circles and chased one another around, especially while Maisie performed “Run.” At one point, Maisie began to play a medley of many of her older songs. She threw in a cover of One Direction’s “Night Changes,” which sent everyone in a very understandable frenzy.
The moment that stood out to me the most was when Maisie made a pause during the medley to mention how she played at The Troubadour just a few years ago, and how she recognized a bunch of faces from that show in the audience right in front of her. Maisie has such a special relationship with her fans that can’t be broken, and it was amazing being able to see it on full display.
