Going to KCON is a can’t miss event for K-Pop stans! Here’s a guide of EVERYTHING you’ll need to know about KCON LA 2024 and planning your weekend, all in an easy to read format.
THE BASICS OF KCON
KCON LA 2024 will be held across three days: July 26 through 28. Get ready for three full days of fun! Previously, KCON has offered a convention hall full of activities for attendees, an area to shop top K-beauty and lifestyle brands, panels and games hosted by K-Pop stars, a K-street food area for lunch, and more. At night, everyone heads over to the Crypto.com Arena for M COUNTDOWN. It’s a unique concert experience, and it might just bring you to stan yet another artist.
This year’s theme is “MUSEUM OF POPPIA.” Take tons of pictures and create an archive of your memories, show off those creative outfits K-Pop stans are known for, meet up with online friends and make new friends from your fandom, and most importantly, get closer to your favorite idols!
Check out my recap of day one of KCON LA 2023 here if you’d like to get an idea of how much fun one can have at KCON.

MAP AND PARKING TIPS
Check out the maps of the KCON LA 2024 footprint below!
When the KCON doors open at 9AM daily, you can start your day at “THE LOBBY.” This is the main entrance for the LA Convention Center’s South Hall. You can find a special photo op here!
“K-POP CONTEMPORARY” will be located across the South Hall of the Convention Center. Here you’ll find the KCON STAGE, M&G STAGE, a Fan and Artist Gallery, the KCON MARKETPLACE, and so much more! The average KCONer will spend most of their day here.
The “FAN CHAMBER” will be located in the convention center’s 400’s Meeting Rooms on level two. Look forward to rooms dedicated to activities specific to your fandom, featured panels, workshops, and additional activities.
Gilbert Lindsay Plaza will be known as “FAN SQUARE,” and will include the “Dance All Day” space, various food vendors, cooling areas, and more.
PARKING AND TRANSIT ADVICE
To recap the above info: Meet & Greets (and hi-waves), Showcase, and the KCON Stage will all be located in the LA Convention Center’s South Hall. Gilbert Lindsay Plaza will be used for outdoor activities. M COUNTDOWN will be held inside the Crypto.com Arena. That being said, here’s a few things to keep in mind about parking!
It’s always a good idea to purchase parking in advance, if possible. However, in previous years I have always had luck finding parking the day of. If you’d like to be much closer to your car at the end of the night and don’t mind a walk to the convention center, consider parking in the LA Live underground garage. The current day rate is $40, however this is subject to change. If you want to park closer to the convention center, consider parking in the South Hall garage (below the South Hall) or in the Venice Blvd. structure.
Another option is to park at the Union Station East garage for $8 each 24 hours. You can either take an Uber/Lyft to KCON, or you can take the Metro A line from Union Station to the Pico exit. It’s a close walk to the South Hall from there.
SCHEDULE
Festival Grounds will open at 9AM daily!
KCON LA 2024 TICKETING INFO

PREMIUM tickets will get you into KCON LA all three days of the event! You’ll be able to select a P1 ticket for M COUNTDOWN at the Crypto.com Arena, and have a choice of being either in a seated section or on the GA floor. Note that your seat selection (GA or reserved seating) will remain the same for all three days. You will have access to the full convention/festival grounds, and you’ll also have special access to the Front Section for the KCON STAGE and M&G STAGE. Premium tickets will be sold for $870.
3DAY PLUS tickets will also get you into all three days of KCON LA. You’ll be able to choose between a P1 (GA Floor or seated) or a P2 ticket for M COUNTDOWN. Your seat selection will remain the same for all three days, You’ll also have access to the festival ground, KCON STAGE, and M&G STAGE. 1DAY PLUS tickets will get you into a single day of KCON LA. Which day will you choose… Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? You’ll be able to choose between a P1 (GA Floor or seated) or P2 ticket for M COUNTDOWN, and you’ll be able to hang out all day at the festival ground, KCON STAGE, and M&G STAGE! P1 tickets will cost $260, and P2 tickets will be sold for $150.
Basically, all of the above are M COUNTDOWN (aka “concert”) ticket options. You can refer to the seating chart below to decide whether you’d like to be in P1 or P2!
There will also be a M&G PREMIUM ticket option for KCON LA, priced at $120 per artist session. These tickets will allow you to participate in a hi-wave session with the artist, and also offer access to the rest of the festival ground, KCON STAGE, and M&G stage. Please note that these do not include access to M COUNTDOWN – these are not “concert tickets.”
For those who have attended KCON in the past, M&G PREMIUM would essentially replace the regular convention ticket and hi-touch/hi-wave option. I’ll elaborate more on hi-waves later on in this article.
WHAT IS KCON EXPRESS?
KCON EXPRESS will allow you to experience MORE of what you love before, at, and after KCON! The regular KCON EXPRESS track is priced at $55, and will grant you an opportunity to shop in the presale for tickets, a dedicated lane at the on-site merch booth, and access to watch exclusive KCON YouTube Membership Content (VODs).

AND THAT’S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT KCON LA 2024… FOR NOW!
I’ll continue to update this article as more information is released! If you have any questions about KCON LA 2024, feel free to drop a comment below, email me, or reach out to me on X or Instagram. I really hope I was able to help you out, and most importantly, get you excited about KCON!
You were so very helpful last year! Things are a little different this year and I’m confused. On the Kcon express premium, you can only buy one express ticket per ID right? So no point getting kcon express premium if I’m going with someone cause we can’t sit together. I want presale but want to buy two tickets. It says you can only buy one so I’d be better off on general sale right?
Author
Hi! Great to see you again 😀 Yes, it would be one express ticket per ID, so you’d only be able to purchase one presale ticket. I would recommend the general sale so you two can sit together!
Hello, I have a question that no one seems to be able to answer and that is: where is the side they face where the official cameras are? 101 or 111?
Also, thanks for clarifying that the Express tickets mean you can’t sit together because it’s kinda buried in the fine print, and most regular concerts allow you to buy adjacent seats during pre-sale.
TIA

Hi! I cannot give you a concrete answer about the official cameras for this year, as that is subject to change. In the past, the cameras have been posted around sections 106-107. Based on last year I wouldn’t really say there’s a “front and back” though, so you’re gonna get a really good view no matter where you’re at!
Second question. Your article says that tickets provide access to the Meet and Greet stage, does that mean we can watch the M&G if we don’t have an actual ticket to the M&G? Thanks
Author
Yes you can! This year everyone can watch the M&G, regardless of the ticket type they have. The M&G Premium upgrade is just so you can go up and do the hi-wave with the artist.
hello! could you let me know what the hi-wave is exactly? do fans just line up and wave at the group? if so, is $120 extra really worth it just to do this? thank you!
Author
Hi, thank you for stopping by! Yes, you line up and get to go on stage and wave to each member of the group at the end of the Meet & Greet. Last year I got to do it for ATEEZ and there was a glass separating us from them. But if you are a very huge fan of the group, it is worth it! I had a lot of fun 😊
Hi! Do you know the location of the tunnel the artists come through? TY
Author
Hi! I heard it was either 111 or 119 last year.
Hi, I am just wondering if you know there will be additional tickets for sale near the kcon event day? I didn’t manage to get a M&G ticket and it is currently all sold out…
Author
Hi! It looks like there won’t be any “festival only” (aka convention only) tickets sold separately like past years.
