After nearly a decade of being a shining star in WJSN and its sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME, the time has come for DaYoung to shine on her own with her first single album, ‘gonna love me, right?’
Fans have long awaited DaYoung’s solo debut, and the release is giving them a glimpse at a more authentic side of the singer. Being heavily involved in every aspect of the making of the project, DaYoung paints a picture of who she truly is, and invites listeners to discover the true her!
“Body” is the focus track for this project, which will lead listeners straight to the dance floor. The song embodies the feeling of excitement one might feel when being in the vicinity of someone they’re attracted to, and how emotions will take over at that time before words can be spoken.
While “body” shows listeners a bright and bubbly side of DaYoung, “number one rockstar” offers a more personal feeling, as she highlights her love for music and desire to always be in the front of one’s mind.
The single album also features “marry me,” a cheeky, lighthearted take on love.
