“Sweet Love” sounds like a gentle nod to “I Can’t Help Myself” by the Four Tops, and let’s face it… this is a valid comparison! One can’t help but feel the urge to “Sweet Love” over and over again. The song evokes a giddy feeling, thanks to Stephen’s charming vocals gliding over bright melodies.
Stephen also released a music video for “Sweet Love,” which was shot at his grandparents home. This is the place where his love for music was born, as he’d sift through his grandfather’s record collection.
“‘Sweet Love’ really encapsulates the beautiful parts of love, and the active choice we have to make, to love one another every day,” Stephen says. “I was inspired by my grandparents’ relationship while writing the song and it was so special to have them star in the video.”
